Starting a new school year is always exciting, and I am looking forward to getting to know you and your children! We have a lot of fun activities planned for the year, and I will make you aware of them through this blog as well as newsletters home. I plan to put together a portfolio for each student, so both the student and their caregiver(s) can see what they have been working on, and how their work has grown and changed over the year. We will be exploring the alphabet this year and working on fun activities for each letter. The books we will be reading for each unit will be available for checkout so the children can read the books at home, and I will post a reading list here if you wish to purchase them, or check out the books at the library. We will also have music incorporated into our lessons, and I will post the names and lyrics here so you can follow along with your children.
